The Hereford Stampede are delighted to announce the appointment of Alessandro Guida as the club’s new Offensive Coordinator, strengthening the coaching staff ahead of the upcoming season.
Guida joins the Stampede with a wealth of coaching experience at both senior and university level. He is currently the Head Coach of the University of Worcester Royals and has previously held coaching roles with the Sandwell Steelers and the Worcestershire Black Knights, building a strong reputation for developing players and effective offensive systems.
Speaking on his appointment, Guida shared his excitement about joining the Stampede coaching setup:
“I would like to thank Coach Jones for considering me and offering me the role of Offensive Coordinator. I’m very grateful to be in the position and even after a few weeks I already feel at home.
I can’t wait for the season and to see where this team can go. I’m very excited for the opportunity to work with a brilliant group of players and coaches and help push the Stampede to the next level.”*
Head Coach Leigh Jones and the rest of the Stampede staff are excited to welcome Guida to the programme as the club continues to build following promotion to Division 1. His experience and energy will play a key role as the Stampede prepare for the challenges ahead.
